Origin of DVC Rental Store Keith Dickerson and Brad Shaffer, Disney fanatics and lifelong entrepreneurs purchase into DVC Rental Store. Drew Dickerson would become a third partner in this venture. DVC Rental Store soon becomes the 2nd largest renter of DVC points.
2013
Origin of DVC Monera Financial
Origin of DVC Monera Financial Keith and Brad create Monera Financial as an opportunity to provide lending for DVC contracts purchased in the secondary market, and quickly emerge as the market leader.
2014
Origin of DVC Resale Market
Origin of DVC Resale Market Nick Cotton creates DVC Resale Market after a ten-year career with Disney as both an industrial engineer and DVC Sales Guide. DVC Resale Market brought an unprecedented level of direct DVC experience to the secondary market. By 2017, DVC Resale Market is the market leader.
2020
World of DVC is Created
World of DVC is Created All four companies: DVC Resale Market, DVC Rental Store, and Monera Financial are packaged as “DVC Companies” and a majority interest is sold to Xyresic Capital (a private equity firm focused on strategic investing in the lower middle market) and The Resorts Companies (owner and operator of the Massanutten four season resort in Virginia).
2021
MVT & BOGV Acquisition
MVT & BOGV Acquisition Magic Vacation Title (MVT) and Be Our Guest Vacations (BOGV) are acquired. At the time, MVT was the predominant title company utilized by World of DVC and BOGV had just achieved a sales volume status with Disney of “Gold Level”.
2023
DVC Fan Acquisition
DVC Fan Acquisition DVC Fan is acquired. DVC Fan is one of the top reporters of DVC-related news and information. It provides in-depth coverage of DVC news, reviews, and analysis to thousands of current and potential DVC Members annually.
